2023 MSBS Registration



Before you register please read the following notes to make your entire registration experience easier and quicker.

  1. If you have registered in MSBS before do not make a new profile for yourself or your child.  If you forgot your password simply submit your email address alone when prompted and your password will immediately be emailed to you.  All your family information is already stored and this will shorten your registration time dramatically.

  2. Players that will be 6 years old for the 2023 season, may register for Jr. Farm Baseball or Farm Softball if they have played one season of tee ball. Do not register for the Farm teams unless the player has played tee ball.

  3. Please remember: YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED IN FULL. If the fee is a burden on any family please contact our president at kwandsrscully@aol.com for discreet information concerning the MSBS financial aid program.

  4. If you submit your child’s registration after the deadlines the player’s name will be added to the wait list and will only be assigned to a team if there is space available.  There is no guarantee that late registrants will be accepted due to team size and field space limitations.

  5. Refund Policy (PLEASE READ):

  • ALL payments are 100% refundable up to March 1, 2023. After March 1, 2023 all payments are non-refundable. This policy is effective with any and all payments received.

  • When a registration is submitted to Maynard Stow Baseball Softball (MSBS) it represents a commitment for the entire season and the program and coaches in turn make a variety of commitments based on the number of registered players.

  • In exceptional circumstances the MSBS Board may, at its sole and absolute discretion, approve a full or partial refund.  The MSBS Board is under no obligation to approve a refund.   All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing and must be approved by the MSBS Board. Any request must be made within 30 days from the event for consideration.

10U Cal Ripken District Team

10U Cal Ripken District Team will compete in the 2023 Cal Ripken Tournament that starts on June 23rd.

10U SMB Bay State Team

BAYSTATE BASEBALL - 10U

Bay State Tournament of Champions: is a highly competitive travel league with 3-4 games per week plus practices.  To be eligible for the 10U Bay State Team, players must be 10U or younger (birthdate between 5/1/2012-8/31/2013).  This program requires a high level of commitment from both players and their families.  Bay State players will be expected to have limited vacation time including weekends from June 19 – August 6. Any player with a travel commitment or vacation plans must advise of their vacation plans at evaluations. Vacation plans must be identified on the Bay State registration form.

12U Middle Essex Summer League 2023

The Middle Essex Summer Softball League is a competitive league run by

USA Softball of Massachusetts

The season will run from June 27 - Mid August

Games will be played Monday through Thursday

6:15p game time

12 game season

1 home and 1 away game each week

1 practice each week

All USA Softball Rules Apply

 

Some travel required 

(Games can range from North Shore to Boston and in between)

7-8 Jimmy Fund Baseball

The Jimmy Fund West League is teams in the area with no more than 20 min travel time to the games. Home games are on MSBS fields. The games are competitive but the league is laid back playing 10 games during in July, all during the week.

Season starts week of July 1st and ends maybe around 1st week of August depending on final schedule.

Fundraising is part of the Jimmy Fund Tournament experience. MSBS and Jimmy Fund support the tournament financially as a thanks for your efforts.

We have not identified coaches for this program so we do not know how many slots will be available. Children who played in MSBS this spring will have priority over children who did not.

Players who are signed up to play in the Baystate League are not eligible for Jimmy Fund.


We will have a waitlist after 14 players sign up.

11-12 Jimmy Fund Baseball: Summer 2023

The Jimmy Fund West League is teams in the area with no more than 20 min travel time to the games (typically Weston, Sudbury, Wayland, Concord). Home games are still on our fields and there are a number of games played in Sudbury under the lights. The games are competitive but the league is laid back playing 10 games during in July, all during the week. Teams in the Major Division play on a 50/70 field, slightly larger than the regulations LL/Cal Ripken Majors60 Diamond.  This particular 50/70 Jimmy Fund League is open to our Spring Majors60 and Majors70 players.  No tryouts (all registered players willl get placed on a team).

Seaon starts week of July 1st and ends 1st week in August.

We will have a waitlist after a certain number of players sign up, but do not let that discourage you, we plan on having multiple teams and as soon as we have enough players we will pull players off of the waitlist.

Babe Ruth Baseball: Summer 2023

MSBS is now in the process of putting together the Summer Minuteman Babe Ruth Baseball League Teams. The Babe Ruth season will begin the last week of June and will run through first week in August.

* The first round will have 6 games with reseeding for the second round that has 8 games.

* Games will be in the evening Monday-Thursday.

* Most weeks there will be 2 games but 2 of the weeks there will be 3 games with the third game scheduled for a weekend. (although managers may move them to a weeknight.)

* Similar to the Spring season, all home games are at Crowe Park in  Maynard.

* Playoffs will begin in the first week of August.

Teams are open to 13 – 15-year-old players from the towns of Maynard, Stow and Bolton.  Fifteen-year old’s who played last year are eligible to play in this league. The league allows two 16-year-old players to be rostered on each team if that player is not playing school baseball this year or is enrolled in an AAU baseball program. Maximum number of players per team will be 13/14 with returning players receiving priority. It is highly suggested to register early so your player is not on a waiting list. Towns competing in this league are Maynard/Stow, Sudbury, Weston, Wayland, Westford, Concord/Carlisle, Acton/Boxboro, Groton, Chelmsford and Littleton.  IF YOUR SON DID NOT PLAY SPRING BABE RUTH PLEASE REMEMBER TO GIVE US YOUR PLAYER’S SHIRT SIZE & NUMBER COMMENTS SECTION!
