Tryout Information

We have finalized the dates and times for AVLL tryouts. 

• All league age* 10, 11, and 12 year old girls wishing to play in the Major Softball Division, even those that have already played in this Division, must tryout on Friday, March 10th at the New Fowler Gym between 6:30pm and 8:45pm. 

Ø      10 year olds girls should arrive at New Fowler Gym no later than 6:30pm

Ø      11 year olds girls should arrive at New Fowler Gym no later than 7:00pm

Ø      12 year olds girls should arrive at New Fowler Gym no later than 7:30pm

• All league age* 9, 10, 11 and 12 year olds trying out for the Minor Baseball Division or the Major Baseball Division must tryout on Saturday, March 11th at Green Meadow Gym between 9:00am and 3:30pm.  Returning Major Baseball players are not required to tryout.

Ø      9 year olds must arrive at Green Meadow Gym no later than 9:00am

Ø      10 year olds must arrive at Green Meadow Gym no later than 11:00am

Ø      11 year olds must arrive at Green Meadow Gym no later than 1:00pm

Ø      12 year olds must arrive at Green Meadow Gym no later than 2:15pm

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MAJOR SOFTBALL, MINOR BASEBALL AND FIRST TIME MAJOR BASEBALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO TRY OUT.  RETURNING MAJOR BASEBALL PLAYERS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO TRY OUT. TRYOUTS ARE MERELY TO CREATE PARITY IN THE COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS.  ALL CHILDREN WILL MAKE A TEAM.  THERE ARE NO TRYOUTS FOR T-BALL, FARM BASEBALL OR FARM SOFTBALL.
